Moko Jumbie (stilt walker)

Towering atop handmade stilts & fashioned from six pieces of seaglass & glass beads, their stilts dance with the slightest breeze. 5"-6" tall. These make great suncatchers and ornaments. Afro-Caribbean lore describes them as guardians or protectors. Their height was so they could see trouble approaching from a great distance. And couldn't we all use a tall guy looking out for us?
